Vreeland's Harley-Davidson kicked off the First Garage Party™
in the history of Harley-Davidson® on Wednesday May 11, 2005 at 6:00 PM. Around
20 ladies gathered together at Marty Fox's garage in Lewisburg, PA for an
evening of fun, crosswords, workshop, female riders stories etc. This First
Garage Party™ is a result of a large promotion from Vreeland's Harley-Davidson
in order to introduce women to the fun of motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson®
lifestyle without the intimidation that can go along with this. Among the
participants, Patti Vreeland (Vreeland's General Manager), Darcy Rhodes (Vreeland's
Counter Manager) and Rebecca Bortner (Communication Project Manager) from
Harley-Davidson® in Milwaukee, WI . She had made the trip especially to attend
this event.
