Our History

. Harley Davidson of Essex was founded in 1955 by William J. Steele. It is currently owned and operated by W. Glenn Steele. The Steele family boasts five generations in the motorcycle industry. The line was begun by John Steele with the Indian Motorcycle dealership of Paterson, NJ in the early 1900's.
